Challenge
The EC Audiovisual Service offers EU-related information tailored for professionals in the media, delivering real-time audiovisual news coverage to the media as well as a unique archive Library on the history of the EU. Three types of media are delivered to professionals: audio, video and pictures. This material is available in two different ways:
- The EBS satellite channel.
- The EC Audiovisual Service portal containing the EBS channel and an audiovisual library from 1940 until now.
Emakina was appointed to produce a film that specifically promotes the archives of this Service in order to raise its “awareness” among end users.
Execution
The film directed and produced by Emakina is a stunning, state-of-the-art presentation showcasing the archives material that the EC audiovisual service can deliver to professionals from its huge archive content. The storyboard combines library archives with 3D motion design made by our creative studio. The video is available in the online portal of the Audiovisual Service, on eutube video channel and on dvd.
